In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), the following
interpretive/policy statements issued by the department of
social and health services have been filed:
Medical Assistance
Subject: Title XIX Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 07-007.
Effective Date: June 1, 2007.
Document Description: This notice revises the notice filed as WSR 07-11-027 on May 4, 2007, concerning Title XIX Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 07-007. This revision combines the information in the notice for SPA 07-006 filed as WSR 07-10-111 on May 2, 2007, with the information in the notice filed as WSR 07-11-027 on May 4, 2007. The DSHS health and recovery services administration (HRSA) is updating the Title XIX Medicaid State Plan via SPA 07-007 to describe and clarify policy and payment methods for hospitals, including the disproportionate share hospital (DSH) payment program, explained in Attachment 4.19-A, Part I.
