Semi-Annual Agenda for Rules Under Development

(Per RCW 34.05.314)

July 2007


     1. Rule making for WAC 478-160-163 Waivers of tuition and fees, extending a tuition waiver to qualified veterans and their children/spouses who seek their first graduate or professional degree from the UW, will be completed during the second half of 2007.

     2. Rule making for new chapter 478-165 WAC, Cost savings on course materials, will be completed during the second half of 2007.

     3. Rule making concerning the animal control policy, currently part of chapter 478-124 WAC, General conduct code for the University of Washington, will continue during the second half of 2007.

     4. Rule making for WAC 478-160-163 Waivers of tuition and fees, concerning legislative changes to the tuition waiver for specific veteran's children and spouses, is anticipated during the second half of 2007.

     5. Rule making for chapter 478-120 WAC, Student conduct code for the University of Washington, is anticipated during the second half of 2007.

     6. Rule making for chapter 478-276 WAC, Governing access to public records, is anticipated during the second half of 2007.
