The Washington state rehabilitation council is a governor appointed council of volunteers working to improve the quality and availability of services designed to support people with disabilities interested in going to work or advancing in their fields.
Our October 18th meeting is a committee work day. Topics of discussion include the Open Public Meeting[s] Act, successful board service, and progress on work plans. On the 19th, the council will discuss the prospect of the developing new committees, following up on customer survey recommendations, and exploring cross-cultural communication.
