Subject of Possible Rule Making: Chapter 308-87 WAC, Limousine carrier businesses.
Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 46.72A.120 and 46.04.074.
Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: Update, clarify and establish rules regarding the department's licensing of limousine carriers and chauffeurs, including but not limited to rules regarding definitions, applications, licensing, recordkeeping, fees, investigations, and disciplinary action.
Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.
Process for Developing New Rule: Internal review and input from stakeholders.
