     In accordance with RCW 34.05.230(12), following is a list of policy and interpretive statements issued by the health care authority (HCA).

     Document Title: Provider Notice #13-17.

     Subject: Ambulatory surgical center medicaid provider guide.

     The ambulatory surgical center medicaid provider has been revised to:


• Clarify how to bill multiple surgeries performed during the same operative session.
• Add the taxonomy 261QA1903X for clarification.
• Clarify that modifier SG is used in an ASC outpatient setting.
• Make housekeeping changes to update cross references and delete outdated information.
