Effective Date: July 1, 2013.

     Description: The agency intends to submit Medicaid State Plan Amendment (SPA) 13-14 to amend hospital inpatient payment methodologies to comply with state and federal rules and the state's 2013-2015 budget. Changes will include reductions to hospital inpatient rates, creation of a hospital inpatient upper payment limit payment, elimination of the hospital inpatient quality incentive payment, and other possible revisions. Expected annual aggregate expenditures will be based on final legislative budget approval.
