Description: The health care authority (the agency) intends to submit medicaid SPA 15-0013 in order to update the practitioners who may prescribe complex rehabilitation technology products within the scope of their licensure. This includes advanced registered nurse practitioners, physician assistants certified, and naturopathic physicians.

The agency does not anticipate any increase or decrease of annual aggregate expenditures as a result of this SPA; this change will not affect the utilization or fee for the service which has always been available as a durable medical equipment benefit.
