Title: Interim Policy 6.54 - Authorizing Transportation for Vocational Retraining.
Date Issued: August 1, 2015.
Description: This revised policy is consistent with amended WAC 296-20-1103 Travel expense, which became effective August 1, 2015. There is no longer a restriction on reimbursement for the first fifteen miles of an authorized one-way trip and the first and last fifteen miles of an authorized round trip for workers actively participating in a retraining plan. The policy is interim for the date to coincide with the adopted WAC.

Description: This amended management update is consistent with new Interim Policy 6.54 and recently amended WAC 296-20-1103. There is no longer a restriction on reimbursement for the first fifteen miles of an authorized one-way trip and the first and last fifteen miles of an authorized round trip for workers actively participating in a retraining plan. This management update replaces the August 31, 2010, version.
