Subject of Possible Rule Making: WAC 260-70-610 Storage and shipment of split samples.

Statutes Authorizing the Agency to Adopt Rules on this Subject: RCW 67.16.020.

Reasons Why Rules on this Subject may be Needed and What They Might Accomplish: The Washington horse racing commission (WHRC) is contemplating requiring all split sample approved laboratories be Racing Medication and Testing Consortium accredited.

Other Federal and State Agencies that Regulate this Subject and the Process Coordinating the Rule with These Agencies: None.

Process for Developing New Rule: Negotiated rule making.
