Following is our semi-annual rule-making agenda for publication in the Washington State Register. The agenda lists rules that are under active development. We also anticipate filing a rule-making action on these rules during the next six months.
The agenda is available on our rule-making web site. We update the information on our web site as rule making progresses. This includes starting rule-making activities not listed on this agenda or stopping listed rule-making activities.

Chapter 200-200 WAC, State capitol grounds traffic and parking regulations; chapter 200-220 WAC, Use of the public areas of the capitol buildings and grounds; and chapter 200-210 WAC, Capitol Lake and adjoining lands and roadways.
Amend rule to:
• Provide clarity relative to enforcement of the rules;
• Add government use of the public areas of the capitol campus;
• Provide rigor to the permitting process;
• Address safety and health concerns;
• Align content between WAC chapters.
We anticipate filing proposed rules (CR-102) in spring 2019.
Chapter 200-200 WAC, State capitol grounds traffic and parking regulations.
Amend rule to:
• Align with current parking practices, policies and statutory requirements;
• Remove barriers when improving processes and practices;
• Make sure the rules are easily and quickly understood;
• Not duplicate other parking requirements;
• Move sections to chapter 200-220 WAC, Use of the public areas of the capitol buildings and grounds.
We anticipate filing proposed rules (CR-102) in mid-summer 2019.
