     On page 4, line 10, after Aschool year.@ insert AThe history, civics, geography, arts, and health and fitness assessments shall be available for use by school districts at the elementary school level no later than the 2004-05 school year.@

EFFECT: Elementary assessments for history, civics, geography, arts, and health and fitness must be available for use by the 2004-05 school year but there isn=t a deadline for implementation established.
