AN ACT Relating to the establishment of a state policy and program for freight mobility strategic investments; and creating a new section.
BE IT ENACTED BY THE LEGISLATURE OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON:
NEW SECTION. Sec. 1. The legislature finds that because the state's transportation network is multimodal and multijurisdictional in nature, the state is uniquely positioned to address those physical and nonphysical barriers that impede the efficient and safe flow of freight and goods to market destinations through the establishment of a policy and program that addresses strategic investments in freight mobility projects.
