     On page 2, line 34, after Aproposal;@ insert Aand a proposer=s plan for making an effort to encourage minority, women, and small businesses to offer to perform work orders under the job order contract;@

     On page 2, after line 35, insert the following:

A(h) In the event that the public body determines to evaluate a proposer=s plan for making an effort to encourage minority, women, and small businesses to offer to perform work orders, a detailed description of the criteria that will be used to evaluate the plan;@

Renumber the remaining subparagraphs consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Requires the public body to encourage requests for proposals from minority, women, and small businesses for public works.
