     On page 2, line 24, strike Agovernment.@ and insert Agovernment; and@

     On page 2, after line 24, insert the following:

A(e) Any time period required for a state or federal agency to review a project permit application under review by the local government if: (i) such review by the state or federal agency is mandated by state or federal statute; and (ii) approval by the state or federal agency is necessary for a local government to issue a final decision.@

     On page 3, line 4, strike Aor (d)@ and insert A(d), or (e)@

     Correct any internal references.

EFFECT: This amendment excepts from the 120-day local government  permit timeline that time during which a state or federal agency is required to review and approve the permit under state or federal law.
