     On page 2, after line 29, insert the following:

     "(6)  The superintendent of public instruction shall annually report to the appropriate policy and fiscal committees of the legislature on the uses of the better schools fund allocation.  The report shall include expenditure data for each purpose specified in subsection (2) of this section."

EFFECT:  The OSPI will submit an annual report to the legislature detailing the use of better schools funding between the specified uses.
