     On page 2, line 6, after Aproject.@ insert AIn the event of differences of opinion among the members of the advisory committee, the committee shall attempt to resolve these differences through various means, including the retention of facilitation or mediation services.@

     On page 2, line 11, after A(4)@ insert the following:

AUpon completion of the study, the department shall provide a report to the natural resources committee of the house of representatives and to the natural resources, parks, and recreation committee of the senate summarizing the results of the study.

EFFECT: Requires the advisory committee to attempt to resolve any differences of opinion through various means, including facilitation or mediation.  Requires the department to report to the natural resources committees of the House of Representatives and of the Senate with study results.
