On page 3, after line 4, insert the following:

A(1) The department shall investigate trespass and property ownership disputes involving lands acquired under this chapter and determine whether such lands should be transferred or disposed of under this section.

(2) The department shall investigate trespass disputes involving lands acquired under this chapter contiguous to the town of Darrington and determine whether such lands should be transferred or disposed of under this section.@

Renumber subsequent subsections and internal references accordingly.

EFFECT: Directs the department to investigate trespass disputes involving lands acquired under this chapter, including lands contiguous to the town of Darrington, and determine whether such lands should be transferred or disposed of.
