EFFECT: Requires the state auditor to conduct a performance audit of each charter school at least once every five years. Requires a charter school to implement a quality management program and to conduct an annual self assessment of its program. Requires a charter school to include independent audits, self assessments, and corrective action plans in its renewal application.
