   On page 1, line 4 of the amendment, after "RCW 28A.400.200(4)." insert "The supplements shall be provided only for additional staff time and responsibilities specified in supplemental contracts, and supplements may not be provided as across-the-board salary adjustments."

EFFECT: Requires that the regional cost-of-living salary supplements be provided only for additional staff time and responsibilities specified in supplemental contracts. Prohibits the regional cost-of-living salary supplements from being provided as across-the-board salary adjustments.
