On page 2, after line 11, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 3 The legislature finds that consumers who
own their own liquefied petroleum gas containers are vulnerable to
price gouging or clearly excessive pricing, especially when there is
limited competition in a given area. It is the intent of the
legislature to periodically review the price of liquefied petroleum gas
to determine whether consumers who own their own container are being
charged a reasonable price."

On page 2, after line 13, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 4 Sections 1 and 2 of this act expire July 1,
2011."
Correct the title.
EFFECT: Removes the definition of "clearly excessive price" which is not referenced in the bill. Adds an expiration date of July 1, 2011. Creates an intent section, which states that the legislature is concerned about price gouging of consumers who own their own liquefied petroleum gas containers, and that the legislature will periodically review the price of liquefied petroleum gas for reasonableness.
