"NEW SECTION. Sec. 23 The director of the department of
financial institutions or the director's designee may take such steps
as are necessary to ensure that this act is implemented on the
effective date of this section."
Renumber the remaining section.

On page 1, line 6 of the title, after "19.146 RCW;" insert "creating a new section;"
EFFECT: Ensures that the Department of Financial Institutions has the administrative authority to make the necessary preparations, and do any advance setup, in order to begin licensing loan officers by the bill's effective date, January 1, 2007.
