   On page 2, beginning on line 7, strike all of subsection (b) and insert the following:

   "(b) The exclusive bargaining representative of adult family home providers in the unit specified in (a) of this subsection shall be the organization certified by the commission as the sole representative after the commission conducts a secret ballot election."

EFFECT: Requires that a secret ballot election, instead of a cross-check of bargaining authorization cards, be used to determine the exclusive bargaining representative.
