   On page 8, beginning on line 11 of the amendment, strike subsection (b) and insert the following:

   "(b) The average available greenhouse gases emissions output as determined by the department of community, trade, and economic development under section 7 of this act."

EFFECT: Revises the criteria for the greenhouse gases emissions performance standard. Removes as part of the greenhouse gases emissions performance standard the rate of emissions of greenhouse gases for a commercially available combined-cycle natural gas thermal electric generation facility that provides baseload electric generation and replaces it with the average available greenhouse gases emissions output as determined by the department of community, trade, and economic development.
