On page 2, line 5, after "policy" insert ". If a school district determines that the cost of implementation of an integrated pest management program would adversely affect the district's ability to deliver basic education to its students, it is not required to adopt an integrated pest management policy or implement an integrated pest management program. Otherwise, by September 1, 2009, each school district shall adopt an integrated pest management policy"

EFFECT: Allows school districts to opt out of adopting an integrated pest management policy or implementing an integrated pest management program if it is determined that the cost of implementation would adversely affect the district's ability to deliver basic education to its students.
