On page 195, after line 23, insert the following:
"NEW SECTION. Sec. 1307 The secretary of state shall submit this
act to the people for their adoption and ratification, or rejection, at
the next general election to be held in this state, in accordance with
Article II, section 1 of the state Constitution and the laws adopted to
facilitate its operation."

On page 2, line 12 of the title, after "dates;" strike "and" and on line 13 of the title after "date" insert "; and providing for submission of this act to a vote of the people"
EFFECT: Requires the act to be submitted to the people for their ratification or rejection at the next general election.
