    On page 3, after line 35, insert the following:

    "NEW SECTION. Sec. 2.  A new section is added to chapter 35.93 RCW to read as follows: If a board chooses to expand an annexation proposal under RCW 35.93.150, it must first determine whether any applicable comprehensive plan or development regulations adopted pursuant to chapter 36.70A RCW sufficiently accommodate a population projection for the area proposed for expansion."

    Correct the title.

EFFECT:   Requires a Boundary Review Board that chooses to expand an annexation proposal to determine whether any applicable comprehensive plan or development regulations adopted pursuant to the Growth Management Act sufficiently accommodate a population projection for the area proposed for expansion.
