    On page 2, line 1, after "(1)" strike "If" and insert "Except as provided in subsection (5) of this section, if"

    On page 2, after line 20, insert the following:

    "(5) This section does not apply to a health plan if the application of this section to the plan would result in noncompliance with the consolidated appropriations act, 2012, P.L. 112-74, division F, section 508(d) (December 23, 2011) as readopted or incorporated by reference in any applicable appropriations act."

EFFECT:   Makes the act inapplicable to the extent that its application would result in noncompliance with provisions of federal law prohibiting discrimination based on a health care entity's refusal to provide, pay for, provide coverage of, or refer for abortions.
