On page 8, beginning on line 33 of the amendment, after "(3)"
strike all material through "dollars" on line 37 and insert "The
department ((shall)) must collect from a vehicle owner who pays a
vehicle license fee under RCW 46.17.350(1) (a), (d) through (l), (((e),
(g), (h), (j),)) (n), (o), or (q) or who registers a vehicle under RCW
46.16A.455 with a declared gross weight of ((ten)) twelve thousand
pounds or less a voluntary donation of five dollars"
EFFECT: Restores the expanded list of vehicles to which the state parks opt-out donation program applies to what it was in the underlying bill. This includes mopeds, ORVs, trucks, and busses. Additionally, the qualifying gross weight for all vehicles listed is increased to 12,000 pounds from 10,000 pounds.
