    On page 5, beginning on line 5 of the striking amendment, after "trial" strike all material through "claim" on line 10, and insert ", an additional fifty thousand dollars for each year served under a sentence of death pursuant to chapter 10.95 RCW, and twenty-five thousand dollars for each year served on parole, community custody, or as a registered sex offender pursuant only to the felony or felonies which are grounds for the claim, the total of all compensation under this subsection (5)(a) not to exceed a total of three hundred thousand dollars"

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

    On page 5, line 22 of the striking amendment, after "(5)(a)" strike "and (b)"

EFFECT:  Places a maximum limit of three hundred thousand dollars on the monetary damages component of the compensation award.
