    On page 1, beginning on line 12, after "length" strike all material through "conduct" on line 13

    On page 1, line 18, after "up to" strike "five" and insert "three"

    On page 3, line 28, after "up to" strike "five" and insert "three"

EFFECT: Permits use of up to three school days at the beginning of the 180-day school year, rather than five, for the parent involvement component of the Washington Kindergarten Inventory of Developing Skills (WAKIDs).  Eliminates intent language regarding three to five school days for conduct of the WAKIDs.
