    On page 4, line 7 of the amendment, after "Sec. 5." insert "(1)"

    On page 4, after line 9 of the amendment, insert the following:

    "(2) The renewable energy credits created by a leased energy system belong to the lessor of the leased energy system, unless provided otherwise in the terms of the lease.

EFFECT:   Specifies that renewable energy credits created by a leased energy system belong to the lessor of the leased energy system, unless provided otherwise in the terms of a lease.
