    On page 2, line 30, after "authority." insert "Nothing in this subsection (5) authorizes a county to use a payment method that includes a transaction fee or other charge that reduces, or has the effect of reducing, the payment received by an employee."

EFFECT:  Specifies that counties, when disbursing funds for payment of salaries and wages as authorized in the underlying bill, may not use a payment method that includes a transaction fee or other charge that reduces, or has the effect of reducing, the payment received by an employee.
