    On page 4, line 5, after "(a)" strike "By" and insert "Is"

    On page 4, line 14, after "(2)" insert "The department may, based upon finding in the criminal background check, disqualify a person from being an eligible accompaniment to a hunter under this section.

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively.

EFFECT: Requires any person accompanying a hunter under the age of 14 to be the subject of a criminal background check and allows the Department of Fish and Wildlife to disqualify any person from serving as a hunting accompaniment based on the findings of the background check.
