    On page 17, after line 15 of the striking amendment, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION. Sec. 11.  A new section is added to chapter 69.51A RCW to read as follows:

    A law enforcement officer may not search a person's home for purposes of determining whether the person is in compliance with the terms and conditions of this chapter unless the law enforcement officer has a warrant to search the home issued by a court of competent jurisdiction."

    Renumber the remaining sections consecutively and correct any internal references accordingly.

EFFECT:  Prohibits a law enforcement officer from searching a person's home for purposes of determining whether the person is in compliance with the medical marijuana law, unless the law enforcement officer has a warrant to search the home issued by a court of competent jurisdiction.
