    On page 4, line 29, after "by", strike "July 15", and insert "May 1"

    On page 4, line 30, after "first meeting by", strike "August 1" and insert "May 15"

    On page 5, after line 8, insert the following:

"NEW SECTION.  Sec. 4. This act is necessary for the immediate preservation of the public peace, health, or safety, or support of the state government and its existing public institutions, and takes effect immediately."

     On page 1, line 2 of the title, after "targets;" strike the remainder of the title and insert "creating new sections; and declaring an emergency."

EFFECT:  Revises the date by which the work group members must be appointed. Allows the work group to meet in May. Adds an emergency clause.
