Background: Public hospital districts are established in statute, including provisions for hospital commissioners' compensation and benefits. The district that offers group health benefits to employees may offer the same group benefits to the commissioners.

Summary of Bill: Public hospital districts that offer group health benefits to employees may offer similar group benefits to the commissioners.
