Takes steps to enhance the current dropout prevention, intervention, and reengagement system by: (1) Clarifying the laws pertaining to the statewide system and the state-level work group charged with overseeing the system; and

(2) Providing specific additional support for some of the highest need students, including those who have already dropped out of school and those who are enrolled in chronically low-performing schools.
