Requires certain medical professionals to complete training in suicide assessment, treatment, and management that is approved, in rule, by the relevant disciplining authority.

Requires the department of social and health services to implement a pilot program to support primary care providers in the assessment and provision of appropriate diagnosis and treatment of adults with mental and behavioral health disorders and track outcomes of the program.

Requires the secretary of the department of health to convene a steering committee and, in consultation with the steering committee, develop a Washington plan for suicide prevention.
