Requires a hospital to: (1) Report to a local law enforcement authority when the hospital provides treatment to any patient for a bullet wound, a gunshot wound, or a stab wound; and

(2) Follow its established processes to inform a patient of resources to assure the safety of the patient and his or her family if the patient states his or her injury is the result of domestic violence.
