    On page 22, after line 28, insert the following:

    "(29) From within amounts provided for the consolidated homeless grant program, and before applying the funding distribution formula, $250,000 in fiscal year 2016 and $250,000 in fiscal year 2017 are provided solely for a grant to King county to contract for services provided by a facility located in south King county that provides temporary emergency shelter and access to related services for children under age 18."

EFFECT:  Directs that $500,000 of Department of Commerce funds for the Consolidated Homeless Grant Program be used for a grant to King County for a facility that provides shelter related services to children. 

FISCAL IMPACT: No net change to appropriated levels.
