    On page 47, after line 27 of the amendment insert the following:

    "(4) Trains transporting hazardous materials for use in road or highway construction, or as part of the production process for materials to be used in road or highway construction, are exempt from the additional train crew requirements specified in section 32(2) of this act."

EFFECT: Exempts trains transporting hazardous materials for use in road or highway construction, or for use in the creation of materials used in road or highway construction, from requirements to place at least three crew or four crew on certain hazardous materials trains.
