Creates the Washington food policy forum as a public-private partnership.

Places responsibility with the director of the conservation commission for appointing participating members of the forum.

Requires the forum to: (1) Develop recommendations to advance certain food system goals; and

(2) Coordinate with the Washington State University center for sustaining agriculture and natural resources, and review, consider, and discuss the study described in section 3 of this act that must be performed by the Washington State University center for sustaining agriculture and natural resources.

Expires July 1, 2017.
