    On page 2, line 13, after "engaging" strike "in a treaty Indian or commercial fishery that is actively setting, retrieving, or closely tending fishing gear;" and insert "((in a treaty Indian or commercial fishery that is actively setting, retrieving, or closely tending fishing gear;)) in:

    (a) a treaty Indian or commercial fishery that is actively setting, retrieving, or closely tending fishing gear; or

    (b) a recreational fishery with the assistance of an unmanned aerial system"

EFFECT:   Adds an exemption to the prohibited activities in the vicinity of southern resident orca whales for recreational fishing with the assistance of an unmanned aerial system.
