    On page 2, line 24, after "submit a" strike "final" and insert "complete"

    On page 2, line 28, after "act." insert "The commissioner shall provide the joint select committee on health care oversight established by RCW 44.82.010 with a progress report prior to submitting a draft waiver application to the federal government."

EFFECT:   Provides that the bill does not authorize the Insurance Commissioner (Commissioner) to submit a complete (rather than final) application to the federal government for an Affordable Care Act waiver. 

Requires the Commissioner to provide the Joint Select Committee on Health Care Oversight with a progress report prior to submitting a draft waiver application.
