EFFECT:  Increases the maximum subsidy for Medicare-eligible retirees participating in the Public Employees' Benefits Board program administered by the Health Care Authority for calendar year 2019 from $168 to $183 per month.

FISCAL IMPACT: No net change to appropriated levels.  Increases non-appropriated expenditures from the Public Employees' and Retirees Insurance Account during fiscal year 2019 by an estimated amount of $6.35 million.
