    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

    Renumber the remaining subsections consecutively and correct internal references accordingly.

    On page 35, beginning on line 8, after "(1)" strike all material through "state," on line 9 and insert "A woman acting as a surrogate must be a resident of this state and a citizen of the United States,  each intended parent must be a citizen of the United States, and"

EFFECT:   Provides that, in order to execute a surrogacy agreement, a woman acting as a surrogate must be a resident of Washington and citizen of the United States, and each intended parent must be a citizen of the United States.
