On page 98, line 3, after "basis" strike "only as allowed by the centers for medicare and medicaid services"
| EFFECT: Removes any exception for the Health Care Authority to not meet certain conditions when negotiation with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) on changes to rural health payment structure. Makes hospital participation in any new rural health payment system voluntary regardless of allowance from CMS.
FISCAL IMPACT: No net change to appropriated levels.
