On page 3, beginning on line 16 of the striking amendment, after "magazine," strike all material through "transport" on line 17 and insert "or when legally carrying a loaded firearm for self-defense or the defense of the state"
| EFFECT: Provides that any large capacity magazine lawfully possessed on the effective date of the bill may be possessed when legally carrying a loaded firearm for self-defense or the defense of the state. Removes the requirement that the magazine must be stored in a separate locked container during transport.
