On page 9, after line 10, insert the following:

"(c) If, at the commencement of the tenancy, the landlord has provided an installment payment plan for the tenant's security deposit, a landlord is not required to make arrangements for or conduct a walkthrough, provide a written walkthrough checklist or statement, or provide the tenant with a copy."

EFFECT: Eliminates the walkthrough requirement in situations in which the landlord has allowed the tenant to pay his or her security deposit in installments.
