On page 2, line 28 of the striking amendment, after "permit;" strike "or"

On page 2, line 30 of the striking amendment, after "RCW" insert "; or

(g) Motorized or gravity siphon aquatic mining where the mining activity is conducted by a person who has conducted motorized or gravity siphon aquatic mining activities pursuant to the gold and fish pamphlet adopted by the department of fish and wildlife for at least one season of mining without incurring any civil penalties under the gold and fish pamphlet"

EFFECT: Provides an exemption from the act's prohibition on motorized or gravity siphon aquatic mining for miners who have operated for at least one mining season under the Gold and Fish pamphlet (pamphlet) published by the Department of Fish and Wildlife without incurring any civil penalties under the pamphlet.
